Subject: Bilateral visa waiver agreement between Australia and Switzerland

Hello

Can you please confirm if there is a bilateral visa waiver agreement between Australia and Switzerland that is current, for Australian citizens and passport holders.

If so, please provide a copy of it, and please explain the rules and regulations for Australian citizens.

Please confirm if this can be used as additional time to the Schengen 90 out of 180 days visa.

Thank you

Kind regards

Hello

Thank you for your prompt response, can you please confirm:
Thus, when you travel to Switzerland, you should make sure that you have not yet exhausted the 90 days within 180 days period of legal stay in the Schengen area since your first entry into the Schengen area, regardless of any bilateral agreement. This applies also to Schengen departures via Swiss airports. If you exceed the 90 days stay, you risk to be fined or even be banned from entering the Schengen area.

Does this mean on exit that Switzerland will not recognize other countries Bilateral Waiver Visa Agreements with Australia?
Kind regards
